Two Growth challenges that had to work together

Together with Kash, we worked in each market with a dual objective: drive the fintech’s local growth while increasing cross-border transfers between countries.

The strategy started from the understanding that acquisition and regional expansion could not be treated as separate problems.

On one hand, each market needed to develop its own user base and drive product adoption. That meant building Growth Marketing strategies adapted to the specific characteristics of each country, rather than replicating a single formula across Central America.

On the other hand, there was a regional challenge: turning Kash’s presence across different markets into an increasingly connected network, driving money transfers between countries.

Local growth increased cross-border potential. And greater cross-border usage, in turn, increased the value of having Kash in each market.

Our solution: a Growth Strategy designed as an ecosystem

At Boomit, we supported Kash by developing a fintech Growth Marketing strategy across different markets, working on acquisition, activation, and transaction generation.

The operation made it possible to analyze the behavior of each country independently while also understanding the relationships between markets in order to strengthen cross-border corridors.

This meant going beyond optimizing campaigns for installs or registrations. The focus was on bringing the acquisition strategy closer to the behavior that truly creates business value: users who adopt Kash and use the product to move money.

As a result, performance, data, and local market knowledge began working together within a single regional strategy.

From different markets to a regional opportunity: growing to connect more people

Our work together allowed us to support Kash’s growth across the region, building local acquisition capabilities while increasing the use of cross-border transfers.

Rather than operating six isolated strategies, the challenge was to build a model capable of understanding how each market grows and how that growth can strengthen the rest of the network.

Kash’s growth in Central America shows that scaling a regional fintech goes far beyond adding users or entering new markets. It is about building adoption, generating trust, and making the product part of the way people manage and move their money.

For Kash, every market that grows also expands the potential of a network that connects people across different countries and brings financial solutions closer to those who often face barriers within the traditional financial system.

At Boomit, the challenge is to continue supporting that vision with a Growth strategy capable of evolving alongside the business: understanding the specific characteristics of each market, connecting data and performance, and identifying new opportunities to continue scaling across the region.

Because for a regional fintech, scaling does not simply mean reaching more countries. It means making sure that every new market makes the entire ecosystem more valuable.
